Our Work

In the pursuit towards peace, it is recognised that there is not “a one glove fits all” type of approach and often than not, it requires contextual understanding of the matter. Thus, there is a need to apply differing strategies to different audiences and at differing levels. The following are approaches undertaken by WCP:

Research & Publications

Capacity Building

Consultation & Community Relations

Close cooperation with academicians from universities and other academic/research-based institutions within the region. This element will also include international experts to provide in-depth and on the ground information toward maximising and advancing content, resources as well as existing literatures deemed relevant with WCP’s objectives. These engagements will be conducted through a strong focus on advocacy and capacity building within the Southeast Asian community and beyond. These engagements (in the form of outreach programmes, cross-cultural discussions, workshops) are aimed at engaging and empowering vulnerable communities as well as promoting a culture of peace. One part of WCP’s approach in public relations exercises through networking partnerships and the promotion of peace via the four identified key strategic agendas.  WCP’s community and public-based engagements include, but are not limited to, faiths-based and intercultural dialogues.
